Boiled beets, boiled chickpeas for thickening, strained yoghurt, cumin and others... The main ingredients that add flavor and taste to the beet dip sauce recipe.
-
3
3 tablespoons strained yoghurt (cream cheese if desired)
-
4
Boil plenty of water in a deep pot. Since it is a root plant, wash the soily parts of the beets thoroughly and leave them to boil in boiling water.
-
5
Remove the boiled beets into a bowl filled with cold water to cool. Easily remove the shells in a short time and without wastage by rubbing them with your hands.
-
6
If you want the boiled beets to be palatable, chop them into very small pieces or grate them with the fine part of the grater.
-
7
Peel the skins of the chickpeas that you have boiled until they are soft.
-
8
Place boiled chickpeas and beetroot, garlic, olive oil, tahini, cumin powder, salt and yoghurt in a food processor or blender. Blend all the ingredients until you get a smooth consistency.
-
9
Share the beet sauce mixture on bread slices with your loved ones in the form of a canapé or in a sauce bowl.
