To make the lentil paste with yoghurt, wash and drain the lentils with water, put them in a pot, add enough water to cover them and let them boil.

  4. 4

When the lentils are soft and cooked, turn off the stove. Add the bulgur for meatballs, mix it with the cooked lentils to soften and swell, and close the lid.

  5. 5

Heat oil in a separate pan. Add the chopped onion and fry until it takes color.

  6. 6

Add the boiled and mashed potatoes to the roasted onions and mix.

  7. 7

After mixing the potato and onion mixture 2-3 times, add tomato paste, pomegranate syrup, salt, black pepper and cumin.

  8. 8

Add the lentil and bulgur mixture that you prepared in a separate pot into the potato-spicy mixture and mix with your hand or a spatula until well mixed.

  9. 9

Finally, add chopped parsley and spring onion to this mixture and mix again.

  10. 10

Add the lentil paste to the tart mold that you stretched to prevent it from sticking, smooth it out well and turn it upside down on a plate.
